Chelsea broke their transfer record on Tuesday night, paying in excess of £105 million to bring Enzo Fernandez to the club.

Big signings in the Premier League have often struggled to work out, but Chelsea will be hoping that their new box-to-box midfielder hits the ground running.

However, unfortunately for Todd Boehly, the list of every Premier League club's record signing makes for rather scary reading.

Who is every Premier League club's record transfer signing?

Below is the complete list of every Premier League club's record signing, courtesy of FourFourTwo, which really doesn't make for great reading if you're a Chelsea fan.

  • Arsenal - Nicolas Pepe (£72m)
  • Aston Villa - Emi Buendia (£33m)
  • Bournemouth - Jefferson Lerma (£25m)
  • Brentford - Keane-Lewis Potter (£17m)
  • Brighton - Enock Mwepu (£20.7m)
  • Chelsea - Enzo Fernandez (£106.8m)
  • Crystal Palace - Christian Benteke (£27m)
  • Everton - Gylfi Sigurdsson (£45m)
  • Fulham - Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa (£27m)
  • Leeds - Georginio Rutter (£36m)
  • Leicester - Youri Tielemans (£35m)
  • Liverpool - Darwin Nunez (£85m)
  • Man City - Jack Grealish (£100m)
  • Man United - Paul Pogba (£89.5m)
  • Newcastle - Alexander Isak (£63m)
  • Nottingham Forest - Morgan Gibbs-White (£42.5m)
  • Southampton - Kamaldeen Sulemana (£22m)
  • Tottenham - Tanguy Ndombele (£63m)
  • West Ham - Sebastien Haller (£45m)
  • Wolves - Matheus Nunes (£42.2m)

It hasn't worked out for the majority of names on the list, with the likes of Pepe, Haller, Ndombele and Pogba failing to live up to their price tags.

As for the likes of Grealish, Nunez, Gibbs-White, and Isak, it's too early to dub their record transfers as failures, but considering their big fees, you definitely can't call their moves successes either.

However, both Tielemans and Lerma's moves to Leicester and Bournemouth have been successes, you could argue, with neither club likely regretting splashing the cash on their midfield men.

It's also safe to say that Nunes' move to Wolves has been a success though, with the West Country club likely to make a significant profit on the Portuguese midfielder soon.

It's also worth noting that Mwepu showed glimpses of being able to be a success for Brighton, but his premature retirement due to a heart issue means he, unfortunately, hung up his boots before being able to properly make a success of his transfer.

With Enzo a World Cup winner, and having an incredibly high potential, Chelsea will be hoping that their acquisition of the midfield man overcomes the odds and becomes a major success, something that cannot be said for the majority of record signings.
