Wolves moved out the Premier League relegation zone after thrashing Liverpool on Saturday afternoon.
Wolves welcomed Liverpool to Molineux looking to get revenge for their FA Cup defeat a month prior.
And they got what they wanted with a 3-0 victory over their opponents.
The home side were 2-0 up after just 12 minutes courtesy of goals from Joel Matip (own-goal) and Craig Dawson.
Liverpool improved after the break but they failed to find a way past Jose Sa.
And Wolves made the points safe when Ruben Neves scored his side's third with 19 minutes remaining.
There were no further goals as Wolves cruised to a much-needed three points.
Jurgen Klopp: I don't count Wolves' third goal
Jurgen Klopp was understandably disappointed with his side's performance during the match.
The German was extremely critical of the way that his team started the match.
But, in his eyes, the third goal did not count because Liverpool were on top at the time.
"The third goal I don't count because it was the first time they passed the halfway line in the second half," he said, per the Mirror.
"The other two goals, going into a game with all the things we said during the week and before the game, then this is the start, is horrible."

Wolves go viral after Jurgen Klopp's comment
Klopp's comments did not go unnoticed by Wolves' official Twitter account.
They responded with a brilliant tweet.
The club posted a graphic of Neves, the scorer of Wolves' third goal, looking gutted.
Written on the image was: "Full time. Wolves 2-0 Liverpool."
They listed the goalscorers but Neves' 71st minute goal was crossed out.
The tweet has gone viral, attracting over 8k retweets and 56k 'likes' at the time of writing.

Wolves have moved out of the relegation zone and up to 15th.
They are now two points clear of the bottom three.
Wolves have improved under Julen Lopetegui and they'll be looking for another victory when they take on Southampton in their next match on February 11.
