Erik ten Hag has done an incredible job at Manchester United.

The Red Devils were in disarray going into the this season after a dismal 2022/23 campaign.

But Ten Hag has turned United's fortunes around.

United are currently third in the Premier League table and are well on course to secure their return to the Champions League.

While a title challenge looks unlikely, United still have an outside chance of winning their first Premier League title since 2013 should they continue their good form.

Erik ten Hag wants to sell six Man Utd players this summer

United may be flying at the moment but Ten Hag is still not overly happy with his squad.

According to The Mirror, United are planning to sell six first-team players in the summer.

He wants to raise funds to strengthen in three areas: striker, central defender and a midfielder.

Harry Maguire

United paid a world-record fee for a defender when they signed Harry Maguire for £80m in 2019.

The Englishman's time at the club has been turbulent and he has now lost his place in the starting XI.

United want to cut ties and Maguire shares the same feeling, recognising the need to move on to safeguard his international career and add to his 53 England caps.

Anthony Martial

Anthony Martial has suffered badly from injuries in recent years. He is yet to score in nine Premier League matches this campaign.

Ten Hag wants to cut ties and sign a new striker in the summer.

Scott McTominay

Scott McTominay has found game-time hard to come by after the arrival of Casemiro.

Everton, Fulham and Aston Villa are named as potential destinations for the Scotsman.

Alex Telles

Alex Telles is currently on loan at Sevilla, where he hasn't played since the start of December due to injury.

His time at United appears to be over with Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia in front of him in the pecking order.

Eric Bailly

Eric Bailly was shipped out on loan to Marseille at the start of the season.

He was recently sent off and given a lengthy ban after hospitalising an opponent with a kung-fu kick.

Donny van de Beek

It was hoped that Ten Hag's arrival will spark a turnaround for Donny van de Beek, who thrived under his countryman at Ajax.

That hasn't been the case, though.
