Southampton boss Nathan Jones' days in the St Mary's dugout may be numbered as Saints' supporters are 'adamant that a new manager is needed', journalist Dean Jones has told GiveMeSport.
The south coast club are rooted to the bottom of the Premier League and time is running out to save their top flight status.

According to the Daily Mail, Jones is under mounting pressure after failing to turn Southampton's fortunes around.
The report suggests members of Saints' hierarchy were in attendance for the 3-0 defeat to Brentford last weekend and players have begun questioning his approach.
Jones also raised eyebrows during his post-match press conference, where he claimed he had compromised the methods that made him a success at previous club Luton Town.
Despite the outburst, the Welshman is still expected to be in the dugout when Southampton go head-to-head with fellow strugglers Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.
Jones was only appointed as Southampton's boss in November, following the sacking of Ralph Hasenhuttl.

Jones believes it is unusual for a club's fanbase to turn on the manager and not see an alteration made in the dugout.
The journalist feels Sport Republic will show Jones the door despite their wish being to refrain from another axing.
Jones told GiveMeSport: "I think it's very rare that a fanbase get to a point where they're all so adamant that a new manager is needed and it doesn't happen.
"I'm half expecting that the owners of Saints will end up having to get rid of him. They're not going to want to do that, but we'll discover how stubborn they are."

Should Southampton sack Jones?
Southampton have only been averaging 0.43-points-per-game under Jones, according to Transfermarkt, thanks to suffering six defeats in seven Premier League fixtures.
That woeful run of form has resulted in Saints sitting bottom of the division, while Bournemouth are the only side to have conceded more goals this season.
Southampton supporters made their feelings towards Jones clear during the defeat to Brentford last weekend, chanting 'you don’t know what you’re doing' and 'get out of our club', while he responded by criticising midfielder Romeo Lavia during his post-match press conference.
Although the 49-year-old headed to St Mary's with a strong managerial record, having secured 54 wins during his second spell in charge of Championship side Luton, turning on his club's supporters and singling out a player could prove to be a critical mistake.
Although they backed Jones in the winter transfer window, allowing him to spend more than £56million on reinforcements, Sport Republic need to act fast and show him the door if they want to stand any chance of keeping Southampton in the Premier League.
