Tommy Fury has taken aim at Jake Paul's coach BJ Flores by making fun of his loss to Tony Bellew in 2016.

Flores, you may recall, unsuccessfully challenged Bellew for the WBC cruiserweight title at Liverpool's Echo Arena.

The American was knocked out by Bellew as his dream of becoming a world champion lasted three rounds.

Of course, Fury couldn't help but remind him of that.

He told GiveMeSport.com: "He's got BJ Flores in his corner who Tony Bellew knocked out in three rounds.

"I'd fancy my chances against BJ Flores. I think I would knock him out in three rounds as well.

"At the end of the day let him do what he wants, he could have Angelo Dundee in his corner on the 26th, and he wouldn't be beating me.

"You know, all this money that he has around him, he thinks he can just throw it out to people and it's going to make him better, but it's really not.

"The only way you can get better in this game is by getting in there with proper men and fighting. He's not going to get better by having easy fights with MMA guys and that's just what it is."

Fury also believes his brother Roman is capable of beating Paul - despite his lack of experience.

"100 per cent, Roman is a great fighter," he added.

"He's another man that would beat Jake Paul easily. He's an awkward southpaw.

"This is just the difference. I've got professional fighters all around me, world champions. This is just another day at the office for me.

"I'm basically fighting a white collar fighter, basically, and I just can't wait.

"Three weeks can't come quick enough for me."

Tommy Fury takes on Jake Paul on February 26

Fury, 23, will fight YouTuber-turned-prizefighter Paul, 25, on February 26 at the Diriyah Arena in Saudi Arabia.

It comes at a busy time for Fury, who recently became a father for the first time.

Despite this, he insists that he hasn't allowed it to interfere with his training in any sort of way.

He continued: "I was in camp all the way through Christmas because my last fight wasn't actually a fight it was an exhibition.

"I was in the gym Monday. I've stayed in shape. I've been training since that fight.

"Obviously I've not been wearing myself out, I've been in the gym every day, ticking over, learning.

"But I've been in camp for a very long time.

"I've had no days off you know. I'm fully fit, firing, and ready to go. I could fight him tomorrow actually."
