Nottingham Forest have completed the loan signing of Arsenal youngster James Dunne with a view to a permanent move in the January transfer window.

The 19-year-old midfielder was one of three Arsenal players to have a recent trial with the Championship side, along with defenders Abu Ogogo and Paul Rodgers, and he impressed sufficiently to earn a deal at the City Ground.

Meanwhile, boss Colin Calderwood has agreed to loan teenager Brendan Moloney to Blue Square Premier side Rushden.

The versatile defender, a former winner of Forest's Young Player of the Year award, will stay at Nene Park until January 1.
