It is always classed as one of the biggest and best WWE pay-per-view events and next year's Royal Rumble is set to prove no exception.

As NoDQ.com has confirmed, the event is scheduled to take place at the Alamodome in San Antonio Texas on what will be the 20th anniversary of Shawn Michael's Royal Rumble success.

Whilst nothing has yet been confirmed, there is no denying that the company has plenty of options with regard to who to call upon in order to make the spectacle one to remember.

Home crowd

With the event taking place in the home state of professional wrestling legends such as Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Undertaker, many fans will be expecting several surprise appearances.

Although as NoDQ.com has also reported, the chances of any of these men being involved in the event in a physical way are unlikely, involvement of a different kind should certainly not be ruled out.

Memorable night

With 2017 being the 20th anniversary of such an important victory, Shawn Michaels would surely be more than happy to be included in some way as part of the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event.

Whether it be as a guest referee or announcer or perhaps a different role, there is no argument that the crowd in attendance as well as the WWE Universe watching back home, would go wild for HBK.

Ultimately, fans will certainly be hoping that the company can create a suitable role for at least one of the aforementioned wrestlers to be involved in what will be one of the biggest-ever Royal Rumble events.
