Triple H returned to WWE TV a few weeks ago and cost Seth Rollins the Universal Championship when he pedigreed his former friend and helped Kevin Owens to become just the second superstar to hold the belt.
This turn helped the WWE Universe to accept Seth Rollins as a face for the first time since he turned on The Shield and now it seems WWE are set to continue their plans to allow Rollins to become a fully fledged babyface.
Obviously, Rollins is currently unable to compete after bruising his ribs in his match with Kevin Owens at Clash of Champions, but when the former World Champion is fit to compete again, the build up to a match with Triple H at one of 2017's big events could begin to gain speed according to RingsideNews.

TRIPLE H VS. SETH ROLLINS
Ever since Triple H returned, it was made obvious that Rollins would be facing Triple H in the near future, but the COO has been kept off WWE TV recently so the story line hasn't been able to continue.
That being said, Triple H appeared following Clash of Champions and Stephanie then got in the car with her husband, which proved that the duo was on the same side despite Stephanie arguing otherwise.
This could be because WWE are hoping that Rollins will be the face throughout this feud, but the WWE Universe has a reputation for cheering for Triple H, so if the company continues to stack the odds against Rollins then he should receive the positive reaction they are hoping for.
UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP PICTURE
The current speculation suggests that Seth Rollins could be heading out of the Universal Championship picture and Roman Reigns could be taking his place.
Rollins and Triple H won't need the Championship as part of their feud so it would make sense for Owens to defeat the former United States Champion at Hell in a Cell and allow Kevin Owens to then enter into a rivalry with Reigns.
Roman has shown signs of improvement over the past few months and WWE have allowed him to pick up the United States Championship in recent weeks as a way to show that the company are still behind him and want to push him towards the main event once again in the near future.
