The Tennessee Titans haven't made the best of starts to life under new head coach Mike Mularkey.

The Titans have won just once in the first quarter of the 2016 NFL regular season, and things didn't look like they were getting any better on Sunday as Tennessee went down 27-20 to a JJ Watt-less Houston Texans side.

Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota didn't have the best of games and it was highlighted by him throwing what is almost certainly the worst interception of the season. Scroll down to see it.

Mariota has struggled for form at the start of this season and the pick he threw against the Texans may have been a perfect representation of him hitting rock bottom in Mularkey's offense. Just look at how bad this is.

That is a banker for the end of year 'worst plays' awards. Worst interception of the year, worst throw by a quarterback, Mariota is in contention for all of them.

Mariota basically did everything you're not supposed to do as a QB. His mechanics are awful, the decision-making was desperate. He threw late across the middle of the field and he threw it right into the defender's arms.

What has happened to the Heisman winner who was a former second overall draft selection and one of the best quarterback prospects in years? Mariota is currently dead last in the entire NFL in QBR rating. Surely things can't get much worse for the former Oregon man.
