It's been a rocky few weeks for Alberto Del Rio.
He was first suspended by WWE for violating the Wellness Policy and was then released from his contract, leaving the company altogether.
It wasn't the first time Del Rio fell out with officials backstage, and it came as no surprise when it was announced that he had left WWE for the second time in his career.

Since then, the former WWE Champion made a one-off appearance in Newcastle, England, but has since remained relatively quiet on his future.
However, it was expected that he'd return to Mexico and wrestle for promotions there.
Going by the name of Alberto El Patron, the 39-year-old was meant to feature at 'AAA Heroes Inmortales X', but he no-showed, leading to more speculation surrounding his future.
However, since the news broke, El Patron has released a statement and has revealed he was assaulted with a knife outside a restaurant.
It's believed he was on his way to the airport before the assault happened, and he received multiple lacerations, especially on his arms, whilst trying to defend himself during the attack.
The full statement read: "Mr. Rodriguez ("Alberto El Patron") shortly after eating a meal before his flight was assaulted by a criminal with a knife outside the restaurant.
"Mr. Rodriguez suffered multiple lacerations on his arm and other parts of his body defending against the criminal as Police were called by witnesses. Mr. Rodriguez received medical attention and went back to the Police Department and was unable to make his flight.
"Mr. Rodriguez has spoken with the ownership of Lucha Libre AAA WorldWide and given them the documentation of the incident.
"Mr. Rodriguez greatly regrets not being there yesterday for his fans in Mexico and promises to everyone he will make this up as soon as possible. Despite the graphic lacerations Mr. Rodriguez will not miss any of his shows for the remainder of the year and is ready to compete this weekend in the UK."
In a statement prior to this one, and before it was known that El Patron had been in a knife attack, the Mexican promotion stated how he had let the fans down for not showing up to the event.
However, it's now very clear why he didn't make the event in time.
