Football News

Over the past few days, WWE have released two developmental talents, including this season's NXT winner Sara Lee.

With rumours going around that she is pregnant, WWE took the decision to release her from her contract, and she was joined by fellow developmental talent Hugo Knox.

It has since been announced that yet another talent has been released, taking the tally to three, with Carolyn “CJ” Dunning being fired from the company. Dunning was a nationally ranked bodybuilding bikini competitor by The National Physique Committee and also used to be former Air Force ROTC member.

However, her time with WWE has been short lived, and she has joined Lee and Knox, but it may not stop there.

As everyone knows, WWE tend to go through release stages, where they choose to trim their roster and release several superstars, whether they be in developmental or on the main roster.

Earlier this year, they lost several main roster stars, including the likes of Wade Barrett and Damien Sandow, and word is more wrestlers could be getting released sooner rather than later.

As of yet, there is no official word on who is in danger, but word going around is that more releases are expected over the next few weeks.

According to RingsideNews, more talents will be released, with WWE planning their annual axe for the talents that simply aren't working out.

With the brand split only happening a few months ago, it will be highly unlikely that main roster superstars get released, but one thing's for sure with WWE, you never know what they have planned.
