Tonight saw the final episode of Smackdown before this Sunday's No Mercy PPV and it could also have been the final episode of Smackdown for Dolph Ziggler.

Ziggler will challenge the Miz this Sunday for the Intercontinental Championship, but another loss for Ziggler will spell the end of his career.

Walk down memory lane

For his potential last night on Smackdown, Ziggler was the guest on an episode of Miz TV and sat by while the Miz tried once again to humiliate him.

Miz ran a promotional video for a realistic looking WWE 24 documentary about Ziggler it which all of his past failings were highlighted.

Miz played the scene brilliantly, but it really took off when he brought back some faces from Ziggler's past.

The two faces in particular just so happened to be former members of the Spirit Squad with Ziggler back at the start of his career.

In the same fashion as they once did, the two former Spirit Squad members, Kenny and Mikey then performed some cheers for Ziggler.

Things would turn nasty when Kenny and Mikey would attack Ziggler as Miz left the ring, it wouldn't last too long though.

Ziggler would fight back and even escape a Skull Crushing Finale from Miz who then be left running for the ramp.

Sunday's match between the Miz and Ziggler has gotten very personal and when the stakes are at their highest at No Mercy, will Dolph Ziggler finally be able to win the big one?
