The Los Angeles Clippers played out an entertaining pre-season game with the Toronto Raptors that was filled with impressive plays from both teams.

Blake Griffin and Chris Paul were the two standout players for the home team while DeMar DeRozan dropped 20 points for the Canadian outfit.

However, the highlight of what would usually be an unforgettable exhibition game came in the shape of a hilarious shoe mishap.

With the Clippers attacking, Griffin was having issues with his footwear as the shot clock continued to wind down, the forward was desperate to get the ball and threw away his right sneaker.

But unfortunately for the Raptors' Cory Joseph, it hit the point guard straight in the jaw.

Ron Artest's throwing Trevor Ariza's shoe 'into the crowd' is a moment that springs to mind, as is Tyson Chandler's funny block against the Golden State Warriors.
