Luke Harper returns at WWE house show

Luke Harper has been out of action with the WWE since he dislocated his patella and tore his medial patellofemoral ligament during a dark match on Monday Night Raw back in March earlier this year.

It was expected that the former Intercontinental Champion would be out of action for five to six months. That time is now up and Harper has now returned to the ring to compete once more.

And he came back to a loud pop.

Returning to a WWE house show in Santiago, Chile, the Wyatt Family member received a huge pop from the fans in attendance, as he teamed up with WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens to take on Sami Zayn and Seth Rollins, according to Daily Wrestling News.

He may have ended up losing the match, but he'll definitely appreciate the support from the crowd for his return to the ring as you can see in the video further down in this article.

Due to his knee injury, Harper was never drafted to either Raw or SmackDown in the draft back in July, so which show he will perform on remains a mystery.

He could be part of the Raw show, as he competed alongside Raw stars Owens, Zayn, and Rollins at the house show. However, seeing him reunite with his fellow Wyatt Family members Eric Rowan and Bray Wyatt on SmackDown is not out of the question either.

Fingers crossed as well Harper is inserted into a title picture as well. The former Intercontinental Champion is good enough and has the skill set in terms of in-ring performances and promos to hold a title once more. It's just a question as to whether or not WWE would want to give him that kind of push after just coming back from injury.
