This past week on Monday Night RAW we finally heard Braun Strowman tell everybody what he wants, asking General Manager Mick Foley to find him real competition.
Ever since the brand extension, we’ve seen numerous local competitors step up to the challenge as they tell Byron Saxton what motivates them to take on this monster, moments before the match.
RUNNING THROUGH THE COMPETITION
The script has remained the same throughout, Strowman has steamrolled through every single one of the opponents, whether it be Sin Cara or whether it’s local competitors in Americo, Chase Silver and even James Ellsworth, who has managed to gain a huge internet following since his demolition.

Now that Strowman is ready to take on a bigger challenge, it prompted Foley to question who is next for the monster among men, and as soon as that question was asked, fans immediately thought Goldberg was the answer.
That’s not the case. Early indications suggested a returning Luke Harper could be the challenge Strowman is faced with.
However, according to RingSideNews, it’s actually Samoa Joe that could move up to the main roster and prove to be the biggest challenge yet.
Joe should be challenging Shinsuke Nakamura for the NXT Championship next month at the TakeOver: Toronto event, and has been wreaking havoc lately by attacking anybody he chooses to.
This could mean that either Joe will be pulling double duty if he arrives on RAW before then, or Strowman may be forced to run through a few more under-sized opponents before the potentially massive arrival of Joe to the main roster.
Now all eyes will turn to next week’s edition of RAW, after Strowman claimed that if he doesn’t get real competition, there might not be a next week.
It looks doubtful that we’ll get another local competitor, so perhaps it could be a main roster star who can potentially match Strowman in size.
