Another day, another frankly bizarre FIFA 17 glitch.

The latest release has only been out a couple of weeks but videos have been popping up all over the place revealing hilarious and strange issues fans have been having while trying to play their favourite game.

From rage quitting over free-kicks to Zlatan Ibrahimovic 'celebrations', and a red card that still has us more than a little confused, we thought we'd seen it all. That was until a new video emerged today that includes an FA Cup trophy that, to put it bluntly, has gone completely AWOL.

There are certain things you come to expect when playing a competitive game of football - whether in real life or in the virtual world.

There will be 11 players on either side. They will both be trying to score into their opponent's goal. They will be using a football to do that.

Well, in a video uploaded by a Twitter handle @OpTicXobe, FIFA 17 seems to have only managed to get two out of three correct. You see, instead of your bog standard ball being in use, somehow a glitch in the game managed to turn the match ball into the FA Cup.

We know you can choose from a wide selection of balls on FIFA, but this is a step too far.

In fairness to the two players captured in the game footage, their control of what is technically a 14 lb silver jug is faultless.

We just wish the video had continued on so we could see the FA Cup flying towards the top corner as a 'keeper helplessly tried to keep it out.

Obviously, glitches are always going to appear whenever a new game is realised. Nevertheless, it might just be us, but FIFA 17 does seem to have more than its fair share.

One this is for sure, though, the issues and quirks that are sporadically appearing won't be putting too many people off picking up their controller for another game any time soon.

Who knows, the next time they do they could end up with an even bigger prize as the match ball - our money is on either the World Cup or UEFA Champions League turning up next.
