Laremy Tunsil missed Miami Dolphins' loss to Titans as he slipped in the shower

Offensive guard Laremy Tunsil was not part of the Miami Dolphins team that lost to the Tennessee Titans last Sunday by a scoreline of 30-17. The loss moves the AFC East team to a 1-4 record on the season, so they'll be hoping their first-round pick from this year's draft will be back soon.

Without him, the Dolphins only managed to run the ball for 51 yards and they also allowed their quarterback Ryan Tannehill to be sacked six times. Miami really found it difficult to move the ball without a key piece of their offensive line.

However, the reason why the 22-year-old missed the game this past weekend was one that you probably wouldn't even believe.

Tunsil missed the game because according to Miami radio host Andy Slater, he had hurt his ankle getting out of a hotel shower on Sunday morning. Swelling occurred in his ankle which meant he was forced to miss the game.

Obviously, this was just an accident, but it sounds pretty silly that he did it coming out of the shower, rather than injuring it during something more believable such as during pregame warmups.

Some might think it is believable as Tunsil has already had his fair share of stupid moments as an NFL player, as his draft stock plummeted earlier this year on draft day when a video emerged of him smoking weed through a gas mask.

Since then until now, he hadn't done anything else to cause a problem, so him slipping in the shower would most likely be a coincidence rather than being something that's going to be a common occurrence.

Hopefully, Tunsil and the Dolphins have all their bad luck behind them, and they can turn around their poor 1-4 start to the season.
