A lot of WWE fans will only know what they see on television. Meaning, whatever they see happen on Raw, SmackDown Live or a pay-per-view is all they know about the business.

That's understandable, because that is all that they see. However, for any fan that has ever been to a WWE live event, they will know that plenty of special things can happen at these off-air shows.

At a Raw live event this week, Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens battled it out in the main event. But, instead of sticking to a tried and tested formula like a lot of the superstars do, two of the company's top superstars had something special in mind for the fans in attendance.

These two men are set to feud over the WWE Universal title for the next few months, but it appears as tough they have plenty of ideas to keep their matches fresh in the meantime.

One way of doing that is paying homage to a pair of the greatest ever performers in the history of the business.

Universal champion Owens nailed a spinebuster and then proceeded to deliver a people's elbow, a move made famous by The Rock.

When KO went for the pin, Rollins would no-sell the three count and rise up like Hulk Hogan has done so many times before.

The Architect of the Shield then proceeded to deliver Hogan's famous big boot and followed that up with the huge leg drop after running off the ropes.

Thereality_era caught the action on video and posted the clip to Instagram. It just goes to show what magical moments can be caught at the WWE live events.
