Charlotte wanted to perform insane stunt off Hell in a Cell structure

WWE Superstars Dolph Ziggler And Charlotte Meet & Greet

It was announced last week on Monday Night Raw that Sasha Banks and Charlotte are set to make history at this year's Hell in a Cell when they become the first female wrestlers to compete inside the structure.

This came just a week after the two former champions became the first women to main event Raw in more than a decade, but it seems that Charlotte was not happy with simply making history.

The daughter of 16-time World Champion Ric Flair wanted to ensure that her match for the Raw Women's Championship in less than three weeks would steal the show by performing an incredible corkscrew moon-sault from the top of the cell's structure.

WOMEN'S REVOLUTION

Mick Foley recently talked about the progress that the women on the Raw roster had been a part of over the past few months and it seems that this Hell in a Cell match is the latest way that WWE are allowing their females to prove that they deserve as much recognition as the men.

Eric Bischoff became the first wrestling personality to react negatively towards the announcement yesterday when he stated that he thought the match was a bad idea because Hell in a Cell was not created for women.

Sasha has already made history by being involved in the first ever Ironwoman match last year at NXT: Takeover Brooklyn and the WWE are firmly behind their women making this a memorable match.

CHARLOTTE'S NEXT LEVEL

Charlotte has been one of WWE's stand out performers over the past few months and now the former Raw Women's Champion is still finding new ways to ensure that she steals the show.

According to Top Rope Wrestling, Charlotte pitched the idea that she would deliver her corkscrew moon-sault; that she unveiled in her Women's Championship match on Raw a few weeks ago, from the top of the Hell in a Cell structure.

Obviously, Vince McMahon shot down the idea straight away because this would be much more dangerous than when Shane McMahon leapt off the cage at WrestleMania 32, Charlotte would not be able to see where she was aiming to land and she could injure herself or Sasha in the process.
