Two years have now passed since Patrice Evra left Manchester United but he is still regarded as a club legend by most supporters.

The French left-back spent seven-and-a-half seasons at Old Trafford which is usually enough time to become a fan favourite at most clubs these days.

But it was his relationship with the Red Devils' bitter rivals Liverpool that endeared Evra to the club's supporters forever.

His rivalry with ex-Red forward Luis Suarez added an extra dimension to every game between the two teams.

That's after Evra accused the Uruguayan of racially abusing him during one tightly contested affair in 2011. Despite receiving an eight-match ban for the incident, Suarez was never forgiven by Evra.

And ahead of the latest instalment of the Liverpool-Man United rivalry, Evra trolled fans from Merseyside by posting a video of his infamous celebration in front of Suarez after one particular victory at Old Trafford.

As you can see below, Evra wanted to make the most of beating Suarez and his Liverpool teammates by rubbing it in his face as much as possible.

Evra accompanied the post with a caption that read: "Now I understood why Liverpool players go mad!!!They only go mad because I didn't invite them to my private party love this game!!!!! Liverpool Manchester."

So just in case the game needed any more spice the ex-United captain provided it with a moment all supporters of tonight's away team will enjoy reminiscing.

It is certainly one of the legendary clips that coaches will use for years to remind players just how much this historic fixture means.
