Roger Goodell and the National Football League will no doubt have a big decision to make regarding a future suspension of one player.

Vontaze Burfict has never been one to shy away from controversy and the linebacker has found himself in a bad situation yet again.

This is after a new video was released of the Cincinnati Bengals star seemingly stomping on the legs of New England Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount. Scroll down to see the footage of the incident.

It looks like Burfict took offense to Blount crashing over the goal line to score a touchdown in the dying minutes with the game already basically over. We hadn't seen this before footage before Mike Reiss of ESPN tweeted it out on Monday night.

You can clearly see Burfict stepping on something that isn't the ground as Blount tries to get up following the score. Blount turns around and shoves the Bengals man off him, starting a shoving match between the two sides.

Another image has come out and it appears to show Burfict's silver cleat on top of Blount's foot, but it isn't quite as clear as we would hope.

Burfict had a busy game on Sunday, as he courted more unwanted attention by diving into the knee of Patriots tight end Martellus Bennett for no obvious reason. New England players weren't too happy about that and it led to Rob Gronkowski getting a penalty for going after Burfict.

Burfict has a history of dirty plays and has been handed multiple punishments by the league over time. We will have to wait and see if he receives another for this.
