Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is arguably Europe’s hottest striker right now.
The Borussia Dortmund star scored his ninth goal in nine games against Sporting Lisbon this evening.
He is now the joint-top goalscorer in this season’s Champions League, alongside such prestigious names as Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero and Edinson Cavani - and the slightly-less prestigious Arkadiusz Milik - with three goals.
It’s his pace that makes Aubameyang such a threat, and the Gabon international showed his burning wheels against Sporting.
He shrugged off a poor defender with ease before dispatching the ball with his left foot.

Madrid transfer
Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke confirmed recently that the German club would be willing to speak to Real Madrid about a possible transfer, although the Spanish giants had better be prepared to splash the cash.
"If someday there is something from Real Madrid, who he has an affection for, we have to talk about it," Watzke told Sky, per Goal.
"[But] this [transfer] will not happen automatically.
"We want him to stay with us. As opposed to the players who left us recently, he has a long contract which runs until 2020. There is no pressure at all. And I am not under the impression that he wants to move."
