Despite Brock Lesnar vs Goldberg getting all the talk in WWE in recent weeks, the potential feud between Seth Rollins and Triple H certainly shouldn't be forgotten about.

After being on the same side for well over a year, Triple H and Rollins have finally gone their separate ways after The Game turned on his former protege on an episode of Monday Night Raw.

The night after SummerSlam, with the Universal Championship on the line, Triple H made his shock return to WWE TV and helped Kevin Owens win the title, hitting both Roman Reigns and Rollins with a Pedigree.

It was the first time Triple H had been seen on WWE TV since WrestleMania, when he suffered defeat at the hands of Reigns, and he's only been seen briefly since - in a segment backstage with Stephanie McMahon after Clash of Champions.

It's clear the plans are to eventually have Rollins feuding with Triple H, whether that be for the Universal Championship or not, and although initial plans were to have them square off at next year's 'Mania, those plans could be pulled forward.

According to NoDQ, WWE are under a lot of pressure to sell tickets for January's Royal Rumble, with the Alamodome seating over 60,000 people.

Due to wanting a big crowd for one of their biggest pay-per-views, WWE are considering pushing Rollins vs Triple H forward to January, and then having a rematch at WrestleMania a few months later.

There is currently talks of Rollins going over on Triple H, and then setting up the rematch for 'Mania 33.
