Kevin Love has changed a lot since his high school days, well even since his first years as a professional in the NBA.

The Love that burst onto the scene with the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2008 has undergone a complete transformation in terms of style on and off the court.

It's evident to see in his body type, but he has become more involved with the fashion and lifestyle elements of the league as time has advanced.

However, Slam Magazine pulled up an old high school photo of the 2016 champion from his days at Lake Oswego that opened him up to hilarious ridicule from Twitter users.

But it wasn't just regular tweeters who made fun of Love's questioned trainers, his teammate, and four-time MVP LeBron James could not help but laugh at the - as one user so perfectly put it: '2k defaults' on his feet.

James tweeted: 'WHAT ARE THOOOOOSSSSEEEE!!! 👀 #KickGameWeakSauce 😂😂😂😂'

As is always the case with social media, users were quick to ridicule the NBA star, and it produced some hilarious moments of internet gold.

However, the three-time All-Star wasn't going to give up without a fight and insisted his high school footwear wasn't all that bad.
