Steven Gerrard is Mr. Liverpool.

The midfielder made 710 appearances for the Anfield club and become a club legend during his 17 seasons.

However, he left for pastures new at the end of the 2014/15 season, heading to Hollywood to play for LA Galaxy.

But, after two seasons playing in the MLS, Gerrard’s future is now uncertain. His contract is due to expire and it was unknown whether he will continue playing for the Galaxy.

Now, after his latest Instagram post, it suggests that his time with LA Galaxy is coming to an end.

And, after seeing the post, Liverpool fans have reacted. They believe that he is set to return to Merseyside to help Jurgen Klopp in their title challenge.

Check out the best reaction:

Gerrard has made it no secret that he will return to Liverpool in some capacity in the future. Earlier this year, he insisted that he has no doubt he will represent the Reds again.

“I will be going home at some point," he said.

“I don’t want to start any unnecessary rumours. I’m really happy where I am at the moment. But I’m sure somewhere down the line I will represent Liverpool football club.

“I miss my friends and my family. I miss a bit of cold weather.

“I miss going to the games. I spent 35 years in Liverpool. Liverpool’s my home, it always will be. This is my second home for a short period of time.

“Sooner rather than later I will return to where I’m comfortable with my people - and that’s Liverpool.”

Klopp will no doubt be more than happy to have Gerrard at Melwood for the remainder of the season - whether it's playing coaching or simply training with the players.
