Conor McGregor has unveiled his new custom-made iPhone 7 on his official Instagram account.

The phone is emblazoned with the same tiger tattoo that the Irish fighter bears on his stomach, and he's captioned the photo with 'I'm an animal'.

The photo shows McGregor holding a small wooden box with the phone inside it, along with a few other accessories, with the fighter describing the smartphone as an animal.

In what seems to be a highly customised piece of work, the UFC Featherweight Champion certainly looks pleased with his latest purchase.

The phone was designed by IDesigngold, a company who collaborate with Apple in making custom designs for customers.

However, the tattoo laden fighter might have to put the excitement of enjoying the new phone aside for now as he prepares to take on Eddie Alvarez next month.

The fight, which is for the Lightweight Championship, is set to take place at UFC 205 in New York, and the mind games have already begun well ahead of the encounter with both competitors exchanging heated words on social media.

A win for McGregor will make him the first UFC fighter to ever hold two belts at the same time, with the lightweight division belt added to his featherweight crown.

You can see the Irishman's new phone in his Instagram post below.

But, there is a chance that the fighter may not be allowed to hold both simultaneously, according to a statement from UFC president Dana White.

The 155lbs champion has previously held two titles simultaneously with UK MMA company Cage Warriors, but could now have a decision to make regarding relinquishing a title.

McGregor, however, has stated his intention to make history and hold both titles in front of the cameras before making that decision.
