Every WWE fan loves it when a blast from the past makes a surprise return to the squared circle, and there could be one happening next week.

According to NoDQ, WWE creative have been discussing plans backstage for a special themed Monday Night Raw next week to celebrate Halloween, and that could mark the return of The Boogeyman.

It would make perfect sense for WWE to reintroduce the bizarre character at this time, as his gimmick perfectly runs alongside Halloween and the scary season.

The Boogeyman will always be remembered for his bizarre antics inside and outside the ring - eating live worms, putting worms on his opponents, and even eating a 'mole' off Jillian's face live on SmackDown.

Alright, his character may not have been very suitable for the PG Era, but it still adds something different to the WWE and to its current roster.

With Halloween just around the corner, now would be the perfect time for WWE to reintroduce The Boogeyman to their product, and it could happen on next week's Monday Night Raw.

It's well known that The Boogeyman is signed on a legends deal with WWE, a contract which he agreed to back in November of last year, and it looks like now is the perfect opportunity for WWE to strike.

More of a hint that the bizarre character is set to return to the squared circle is the fact that Indie bookers have been turned down when trying to sign him up to do shows.

They have been told he's unable to take bookings for any shows due to his upcoming WWE return.

The Boogeyman is now 52-years-old, so his planned run with WWE may not last very long.
