So it is official. Goldberg will take on Brock Lesnar at next month's Survivor Series.

After a rather forgettable Monday Night Raw for Lesnar and Paul Heyman, it was announced just 24-hours later than the two animals will share the squared circle next month.

The two have only met once, and just like Heyman's segment this past week, it was rather forgettable as the match at WrestleMania 20.

The match was only saved when Stone Cold Steve Austin hit them both with a Stone Cold Stunner, but it's surely going to be a case of the second version being better than the original.

After months of teasing a Goldberg return, and weeks of teasing a Goldberg vs Lesnar clash, it's now official and it should come as no surprise that the former WCW Champion is in incredible shape.

Despite not being in the wrestling ring for some time now, the 49-year-old is looking in great shape ahead of the big match, and it looks like he's never been away.

There have been some doubts about Goldberg going up against Lesnar, with two-time Hall of Famer Ric Flair calling it a bad decision due to the intensity of Lesnar and the ring rust of Goldberg.

However, taking to his official Instagram account, Goldberg has proven that he's in incredible shape for someone who hasn't wrestled in years.

Training in Affliction Headquarters, Goldberg has posted images of him looking in great shape, and has previously posted videos of him doing some kickboxing ahead of the big showdown.

It's clear the match at Survivor Series will be physical, and maybe that's why Goldberg is working on some quick strike attacks.
