EA Sports hand out a variety of upgraded FIFA 17 Ultimate Team cards, for all sorts of reasons.
Team of the Week; Team of the Season; Man of the Match. Have a great game, or a remarkable season, and you’re likely to get an upgrade on FIFA.
These cards are pretty rare to find. You could spent countless coins, and real money, in opening packs and never getting anything better than an 81-rated Christian Benteke.
So you’re laughing all the way to FIFA glory if you ever manage to receive an in-form Cristiano Ronaldo.
You don’t even have to score a perfect hat-trick to receive certain cards in FIFA’s hugely popular trading game mode.
EA Sports hand out player cards to professional stars who have made their affinity towards the game well known.
The cards are blue and have been awarded to Joey Barton, Luke Shaw and Jay Rodriguez in the past.
Wycombe Wanderers’ star Adebayo Akinfenwa recently celebrated his personal player card on Instagram.
Akinfenwa’s original rating in Ultimate Team is a modest 64. His boosted player card, however, is bumped up to a 95 and includes 96 shooting and 96 dribbling.
Griezmann's own card
Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann has joined the lucky few in receiving his own player card.
The Sport Bible have shared a picture of Griezmann’s personal card, which rises to a 95 overall rating from 88.
The Frenchman, nominated for the 2016 Ballon d’Or, has 96 pace, 98 dribbling and 95 shooting. Check out his card below.
Ciro Immobile loves FIFA
We fully expected Lazio forward Ciro Immobile to receive his very own card in the near future.
Immobile’s wife, Jessica, recently posted a video on Instagram of the Italy striker completely blanking her as he focuses on his FIFA game.
"Darling…" Jessica says. "Guess what he's doing? He doesn't even hear me… DARLING…".
No doubt several girlfriends and wives have been in the exact same situation as Jessica.
