After being sidelined through injury, Sasha Banks made her return to Monday Night Raw after saying she needed to make an announcement regarding her future.
Due to the sombre nature of her message, you would be forgiven for thinking that she was announcing an early retirement due to the back injury she sustained against her match with Charlotte.
So Raw came around and out came Banks. Once again, the mood was sombre and it appeared that The Boss was about to deliver some bad news.

However, it was another fake retirement segment which then led to her announcing a rematch with Charlotte for the Raw Women's Championship.
Cast your mind back a few years ago and Mark Henry did the same. He came down in a suit, got emotional, said he was coming home to his family, only to then World's Strongest Slam John Cena, who was the WWE Champion at the time.
Banks' promo received a fair bit of criticism at the time, especially because sometimes WWE superstar genuinely have to announce their retirement due to injury.
Daniel Bryan did it a few months prior to this promo as a result of concussion problems. Obviously the main difference being, Bryan was actually being legit and actually had to hang up his shin pads and stop wrestling for good.
Another wrestler who announced his retirement live on TV is Edge, who had to call it a day due to neck problems.
In a recent interview, the Hall of Famer was asked about Banks' fake retirement promo, and asked whether it annoyed him because he actually had to retire.
On the topic, he said: "Didn't see it, but all is fair in wrestling.
"If anything it's a huge acting hurdle to try and leap when you've seen actual heartfelt retirements before and probably have no real acting experience.
"Tough spot to put her in."

It may come as a surprise to see Edge not really care about the fake retirement angle, especially as he actually had to stop doing what he loved due to injuries, but it's still a promo that the majority of the WWE Universe do not like.
