Sunday's Hell in a Cell PPV proved to be a history making night as RAW hosted it's second exclusive show since the WWE Draft.

Finishing the show with the first ever Women's Hell in a Cell match between Sasha Banks and Charlotte capped off a truly historic night.

A new champion

Sasha Banks entered Hell in a Cell as the champion but a brutal start to the contest saw her placed on a stretcher before the match even got underway.

She would eventually rally and get into the match, only for her to eventually fall to Charlotte and for the second time, surrender the title to her long time rival.

It was a very curious decision to once again have Banks lose the title on the big stage to Charlotte - but apparently it could be in service of a greater cause.

For the longest time, it has been expected that NXT Takeover Brooklyn would be coming to WrestleMania.

Sasha Banks took on Bayley in an incredible match at Takeover in 2015 and it has long been thought that they will clash again at WrestleMania 33 next year.

However it now looks like Banks' loss at Hell in a Cell could be a sign that that match will be happening sooner than WrestleMania.

The latest rumours claim that Banks was originally planned to win the match on Sunday, but the decision changed so that Banks vs Bayley could be brought forward.

We should however still be expecting to see a rematch between Banks and Charlotte with a possible feud against Bayley possibly being set for the Royal Rumble?
