Ilkay Gundogan has had the privilege of playing with some world-class players throughout his career.
At Borussia Dortmund, where the German won the 2011/12 Bundesliga title, he lined up alongside the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Mario Gotze and Marco Reus.
As for the Germany national team, Gundogan has been able to call Mesut Ozil, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Thomas Muller 'teammates'.

And now, at Manchester City, the 26-year-old is in fantastic form alongside Sergio Aguero, David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne.
Creating the 'ultimate footballer' using components of former and current teammates would be quite a challenge for Gundogan, then.
In an interview with Manchester City's official YouTube channel - which you can watch below or by clicking this link - he was asked to do just that.
GUNDOGAN'S ULTIMATE FOOTBALLER
Gundogan had nine components to decide: vision, captain, stamina, speed, left foot, right foot, passion, strength and header.
Here's who he picked, with a short explanation for each.
VISION - MESUT OZIL
"He's a great player. He's so intelligent on the field. His movement on the field and his assists - he's quite famous for his assists. He's an incredible player."
CAPTAIN - SEBASTIAN KEHL
"I had a very successful time at Borussia Dortmund when our captain was Sebastian Kehl. He was an excellent captain and an excellent leader."
SPEED - PIERRE-EMERICK AUBAMEYANG
"I always knew that when I got the ball there was someone who I could pass to. He's incredibly fast and that's his main weapon as well."
LEFT FOOT - DAVID SILVA
"It's so hard to get the ball when you play against him. He's so intelligent in the one-on-ones, hiding the ball with his body. Also his vision, he's a world-class player."
RIGHT FOOT - MARCO REUS
"The way he shoots is just incredible and the curve of the ball - I don't know how he does it."
PASSION - FERNANDINHO
"With the ball he has a lot of quality and he has the passion to do the dirty work. If you play with him, you know to appreciate it. He's very important for us."
STAMINA - SVEN BENDER
"Maybe a little surprise. He was someone who could run for miles and hours and didn't get tired. Always in good shape, always motivated and always professional."
STRENGTH - SERGIO AGUERO
"I just remember one game against Argentina and it was the first time I played against Kun. It was so tough when he had the ball. He's so intelligent and puts his body between you and the ball."
HEADER - ADRIAN RAMOS
"Extremely powerful and had a big quality in headers. He was a really nice guy as well and a really good player."
So, there you have it. Here's a screenshot of Gundogan's 'ultimate player' in full.
