AJ Styles has risen to the top of the WWE just about quicker than anybody else in recent memory.

As a staple of TNA for so many years, nobody really believed the Phenomenal One would ever reach the promise land of the WWE, let alone become the company's champion.

But here he stands atop of SmackDown Live and with three straight wins over John Cena. If anybody thought Vince McMahon was a bitter kind of promoter, his backing of AJ Styles has disproved that notion beyond a shadow of a doubt.

On this week's edition of SmackDown Live, the former Bullet Club member lost to Dean Ambrose following a distraction from fan favourite James Ellsworth, meaning the Lunatic Fringe is now the number one contender for Styles' championship belt.

Shane McMahon announced on Talking Smack that the two will face off for the Blue Brand's top prize in a TLC match at the namesake pay-per-view on December 4, but the night would hit a new low for Styles following the event.

A fan snapped Styles trying to leave the arena following the SmackDown Live show, but he had locked his keys inside the car.

The pressure was on the Phenomenal One as a rather large group of fans circled around him, but the 39-year-old used a coat hanger to eventually force his way into the car.

The only problem was, his keys were locked in the trunk.

It just goes to show: Nobody is safe in the company of fans and a camera phone.
