Liverpool kept up their excellent run of form with an emphatic 6-1 victory over Watford at Anfield this afternoon.

Sadio Mane helped himself to a brace while Philippe Coutinho, Emre Can, Roberto Firmino and Georginio Wijnaldum also got themselves on the scoresheet.

Daryl Janmaat scored a consolation for the visitors in the 75th minute, but that wasn’t enough to take the shine off what was another excellent day for Jurgen Klopp’s side, who are starting to look like genuine Premier League title contenders.

The Reds have now won seven of their previous eight league matches and are now sitting pretty at the top of the table after 11 matches played.

And Liverpool fans, needless to say, are absolutely loving life at the moment.

Liverpool fans' funny Suarez chant

Those sat in the Kop this afternoon came up with this fantastic tongue-in-cheek chant about Luis Suarez while watching their team batter the Hornets.

Suarez would obviously still make Liverpool's XI

Suarez will always be a fan favourite at Anfield - he knows that and won’t take offence from the chant - plus, there’s no doubt the Uruguay international would still walk into the Reds’ starting line-up.

The 29-year-old, who scored 82 goals in 133 appearances for the Reds, has cemented his reputation as one of the world’s top five players during his two years with Barcelona.

And if he wanted to come back - it’s not happening, Liverpool fans - it wouldn’t be good news for Roberto Firmino.
