The Los Angeles Lakers have made a strong start to their post-Kobe Bryant life and it seems the Black Mamba is enjoying retirement.

Having ended his 20-year NBA career last season with a 60-point outing against the Utah Jazz, Bryant has been working tirelessly to expand his brands and develop projects he believes in.

When recently asked if he missed playing basketball, the 38-year-old said not at all and that he was loving his new challenges.

He has appeared on numerous television shows to talk about what the future holds for himself and also look back on his career, but apart from that the future Hall of Famer has kept a relatively low profile since the end of last season. So sightings of Kobe still get fans excited.

A recent video surfaced online showing a fan tricking the Mamba into thinking he was taking a picture. Now, in days gone by, the usually tense and confrontational personality of Kobe may have seen him react badly to such an innocuous prank, but he took it in his stride and laughed it off.

Sporting his new-look beard, Bryant stared into the camera before he was told it was not a picture.

Now it's hardly ground-breaking news, but we all miss Kobe and what he brought to the game of basketball, so it's great to see the guard in such high spirits.

Bryant has worked with a number of players throughout the summer to help them improve their game, including DeMar DeRozan, and it's clear to see he has had an impact of their style of play. We all miss you Kobe.
