Conor McGregor is a man who pulls absolutely no punches in every walk of life.

Whether it be in the octagon, or talking about his future opponents, the Notorious One always calls it exactly how he sees it.

The Irishman is currently in New York preparing for the UFC's inaugural show in the city, UFC 205, on Saturday night.

He will be taking on Eddie Alvarez for the UFC lightweight title in the main event and he will be vying to become the first-ever two-weight champion in the UFC.

However, when he was asked about the presidential race yesterday by BT Sport, it should come as no surprise that the 28-year-old was brutally frank.

Donald Trump has now been elected as the next president of the United States after defeating Hilary Clinton in the race to succeed Barack Obama.

When asked about his thoughts on Trump, McGregor responded: "I just could not give a b******."

Mystic Mac is looking to make history on Saturday night in what is already a massive night for the UFC as a whole. It has been 21 years since the company has been in the New York state area, and never before have they had a show in New York City or Madison Square Garden.

After a ban was lifted on mixed martial arts in the Big Apple this year, the UFC finally have a chance to establish themselves in America's biggest markets, ironically, the home of Trump Towers.
