it's confirmed. Donald Trump will be the next President of the United States of America. His victory over Hillary Clinton was confirmed by the Associated Press in the early hours of the morning and the Republican, with no prior political experience, will take up office on January 20, 2017.

The billionaire mogul's victory over Hillary Clinton was confirmed in the early hours of the morning and the Republican nominee, with no prior political experience and a less-than-stellar campaign, will take office in The White House on January 20th of next year.

Half of the United States really wasn't ready for Trump to be named President-elect and a lot of them took to Twitter to react to the news. One of those was former NFL star Chad Ochocinco, who captured his emotions - and those of millions of Americans - perfectly.

It all started off with this. Ochocinco tweeting out that he was fresh off a plane and ready to take in the election.

Things weren't looking good, however, with Trump taking an early lead and Florida being way more close than it should've been - eventually tipping in Trump's favour as the night wore on in a huge win for the man. Johnson reacted to that with a sad face.

It steadily got worse, and the former Bengals wide receiver threw up one last prayer to the big man in the sky.

The came some anger and refusal to give up:

Finally, it seemed like there was some acceptance of the new Commander in Chief.

Then a dig at Trump and Republicans who voted for him.

And the Klansmen who proudly celebrated in North Carolina...

Finally, in a great showing, a promise to keep on loving everyone, no matter who they voted, their skin colour, religion, gender, sexuality, or situation.
