We are now two days removed from the Presidential Election that saw Donald Trump named the next man to take office at the White House, beating out Hillary Clinton in a turn up that not many saw coming.
As you will probably have seen, a lot of Americans weren't enamoured with either of the two main party candidates, with millions voting for Gary Johnson of the Libertarian Party and 17,000 people voting for the dead gorilla Harambe and Hennessey, the liquor.
Someone else who got a lot of write-in votes is Aaron Rodgers - yes, we're serious here - and the Green Bay Packers quarterback took some time out today to address those that actually used their vote on him.

“I just want to thank all the voters out there who did vote for me,” Rodgers said, according to the Journal Sentinel. “I know for some people it was between me and Harambe. I think I finished second in that vote.”
Rodgers was also asked if he has ever thought about running for office in the future. Unfortunately, the star quarterback declined to answer.
“I’m just trying to play football right now,” he said.
At a time where so many millions of Americans are on edge, with a recent spate of racist, xenophobic attacks following the election of Trump, it's good that people can still joke around and create a lighter tone.
