Since making his £30 million move from Southampton to Liverpool over the summer, virtually everything Sadio Mane has touched has turned to gold.
The Senegalese star has six goals and two assists in his first 10 appearances for the Anfield club and has been a key part in their rise to the top of the Premier League table.
And his good run continued whilst on international duty on Saturday although, in producing one of the strangest assists you'll see all season, his latest assist may have been more by accident than design.
Mane was in action for Senegal in their crucial World Cup qualifier against South Africa on Saturday evening and, after falling behind 2-0 at half time to the 2010 World Cup hosts, the African nation needed their star man to step up.
And the Liverpool star did help get his side back into it in the second half when, in the 75 minute mark, the ball popped up to him on the corner of South Africa's six-yard box.
What happened next probably wasn't what Mane had in mind when he put himself in position for a spectacular overhead kick but, with Cheikh Ndoye eventually finding the net, the Premier League star might have just perfected the accidental assist.
Skip forward to the 4:05 minute mark of the below video to see Mane's 'disguised' lay off for his Senegal teammate.
Given the way Mane has been playing so far this season, we're half tempted to give the 24-year-old the benefit of the doubt and believe he knew exactly what he was doing as he bamboozled the South Africa defence.
Unfortunately for the Liverpool man and his international teammates, however, that goal was as good as it got for Senegal as they fell to a 2-1 defeat.
That won't bother fans on Merseyside too much, though, as they get their star man back with another impressive performance under his belt.
However, watching the above video a little more closely, they might think themselves fortunate that Mane is able to return to Liverpool in full health considering some of the challenges flying in on him on Saturday.
