Goldust's transgender stepson was the victim of an assault on Friday night and the current WWE superstar has taken to his Facebook page to release a statement regarding the attack.
The WWE veteran has defended his stepchild and their right to live their own life in a Facebook post made earlier today.
Whilst a lot of the details of the assault, the people involved and the nature of the injuries are not yet known, Goldust explains his anger in the short, sharp Social Media post.

Goldust posted the following on his Facebook page earlier today:
“My step son who is a transgender was attacked last night and I’m f******g p****d. Grow the eff up and let people live their lives the way they choose.
"Stop this hateful crap towards one another. The three men who attacked and beat her up are still out there. You boys are three lucky individuals that I wasn’t there or you would [be] on life support.”
Goldust's real name Dustin Runnels doesn't reveal as to whether or not his step child is currently on life support or the severity of the injuries that were caused.
RISE IN ASSAULTS
There has been a rise in the number of victims of this particular kind of hate crimes since WWE Hall of Famer Donald Trump was announced as the next president of the United States last week.
Goldust's statement is clear as regards to his stepson and the way that he feels people should be allowed to live their lives, regardless of the change in leadership at the highest level.
