Football News

The WWE Universe has been buzzing ever since it was announced that The Undertaker would be returning for the 900th edition of SmackDown LIVE.

Well, that monumental moment is upon us, with this Tuesday's SmackDown LIVE the special occasion, and it's already being rumoured what The Deadman's role is for the episode.

It emerged a few weeks ago that 'Taker might get involved with the Randy Orton/Wyatt Family/Kane feud, which would make sense considering his relationship with The Big Red Machine.

Orton turned on Kane a few weeks ago and appeared to join Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper, turning him heel in the process and leaving Kane rather outnumbered.

However, Undertaker's return to WWE TV could have seen him come to the aid of his on-screen brother, but as things stand, those are just rumours.

Another rumour, coming from Cageside Seats, is that The Undertaker will be addressing his status for next year's WrestleMania.

The Deadman has been a part-time wrestler for many years now, only appearing a few times a year, competing in usually the lone match at 'Mania.

Although he's wrestled a few times recently, including a trio of bouts against Brock Lesnar, 'Taker's fitness and health is starting to become a real worry for WWE and the WWE Universe.

Just last month, Undertaker was pictured using crutches to get around, but it was then revealed that he had just undergone hip surgery.

With his return to WWE TV hotly anticipated, Cageside Seats believe that his role on SmackDown LIVE this week will be to address his plans for WrestleMania 33.
