Quite noticeably however, Triple H was amongst the crowd at Madison Square Garden and his presence has sparked rumours aplenty.
Fans have been claiming that he and WWE are eyeing McGregor up for a possible run in the squared circle.
The Game commented on McGregor recently when he sat down with the Telegraph and confirmed how highly the WWE thinks of him.
"He could come over, he's got it all, man - he's got the personality, the skills, the talk. He's an entertainer for sure." - Triple H on McGregor
Crossovers between the WWE and UFC aren't hard to find, Ronda Rousey took part in a memorable scene with Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and The Rock at WrestleMania XXXI while Brock Lesnar fought in the UFC just several months ago.
McGregor would certainly draw in the fans if he were to appear in WWE, and Triple H has already compared his appearance to one other notable celebrity.
"He could do just as well as Floyd Mayweather when he fought the Big Show. Conor could do it for sure."
Whether or not McGregor would be welcomed by the WWE stars themselves is another question as he has previously made headlines for bad mouthing professional wrestling.
It would certainly be interesting to see who he is paired with if he does sign with the company though.
While a match against someone like Brock Lesnar would certainly be a blockbuster event, the fans may just be hoping he doesn't face Big Show.
