Football News

Survivor Series came early tonight as we were treated to a clash between teams RAW and Smackdown for the first time.

We saw Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens stand shoulder to shoulder for the first time at the end of RAW.

Problems resolved?

They were met by AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt and Shane McMahon who all fought in unison.

Both teams have been rocked by some very personal issues over the last few weeks, but in tonight's final segment we saw some team bonding.

Seth Rollins would speak about Roman Reigns in a positive light before the two would pay homage to the shield and pull off a modified triple powerbomb to Smackdown's AJ Styles.

The two teams fought as RAW went off the air and Team Smackdown were the ones left retreating following the brawl.

If tonight's fight was just a taste of what chaos could unfold at Survivor Series, then the fans should be in for a real treat on Sunday night.

We got to see the men's five on five match come to life tonight but we will have to continue waiting to see the same from the women and the tag teams.

With Brock Lesnar and Goldberg also set to collide on Sunday night too, Survivor series could be set to be one of the biggest events of the year.

A new face?

Survivor Series over the years has been known for many notable superstar debuts and many fans are wondering if another will happen this year.

With NXT Takeover Toronto taking place the night before Survivor Series, could one of the big names from NXT be about to make the step up?
