The Haka is one of those things that you can never tire of seeing. It’s most commonly seen prior to a game of rugby, but Jurgen Klopp can claim to have seen it performed in the canteen at Liverpool’s Melwood training base.Unusual? Yeah, just a little bit.The New Zealand rugby league team are training at Melwood ahead of the Four Nations final against Australia on Sunday. And to show their gratitude to Liverpool for allowing them use of their facilities - the Premier League club have offered Anfield as a venue for the final, too - the Kiwis performed the Haka in front of staff and players.Check the video out below.

Klopp might be secretly hoping New Zealand’s intimidating routine can inspire his players to victory against Southampton on Saturday as the Reds look to build on their impressive run.

Liverpool are top of the table and haven’t tasted defeat since August 20.

Mignolet took to Instagram

Goalkeeper Simon Mignolet posted an image of himself with a few New Zealand players, adding the caption: “Feeling very small for the first time after being visited by living mountains today at Melwood by @nz_rugby_league #Kiwis #Units".

Shannon Boyd is set to play

Australia fullback Darius Boyd pretty much confirmed that Shannon Boyd will replace the injured Sam Thaiday on Sunday.

“Sam has played a lot of Tests for our country and to be missing for the final is, I suppose, disappointing,” Boyd told reporters, via Fox Sports.

“In saying that, I think Shannon Boyd has had a great Test debut and first few games this year and while it’s unlucky for Sammy it’s really good for him to get his chance now.”
