James Ellsworth is one of the newest superstars in the WWE and has quickly been loved by many members of the WWE Universe, but not all.

He's only been working with the company since July, but he has already had a big impact with the fans at shows. It has been rumored that he has signed a contract, putting an end to his indy days for the time being.

That rumor appears to be true according to video footage by Wrestling Inc.

On their YouTube channel, Wrestling Inc has posted a video - which you can see further down in this article – of Ellsworth talking to the crowd at a Big Time Wrestling event in Altoona, PA. He cut a promo, confirming he had signed a deal with the WWE.

He said: "It's fitting that I officially announce right here in Western Pennsylvania where this WWE journey started that I have officially been given a WWE contract.”

Becoming emotional, Ellsworth continued: "You all made my dream come true, thank you very much!"

It’s such a great story that a wrestler like Ellsworth that has spent so long in the indy scene gets an opportunity to fulfill his dream and be signed with the WWE.

It hasn't been the best of starts for him as a superstar, though, as he has already tweeted that his Twitter account was hacked, and he needs help finding a way of unblocking 22,000 people!

This Sunday, Ellsworth will be hoping things will be better, as he will be Team SmackDown’s official mascot in the traditional five on five Survivor Series match against Team Raw. What kind of role he will play in the match remains to be seen.
