There isn’t a hotter striker in Europe right now than Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Borussia Dortmund striker has scored 15 goals in 15 games, including the winner for BVB in Saturday’s Der Klassiker against Bayern Munich.

It’s remarkable to think that Thomas Tuchel was willing to suspend Aubameyang for a Champions League game against Sporting Lisbon at the start of the month. There are some players that, no matter what rules they break, you just have to play.

In his first game back from his suspension, Aubameyang scored four goals against Hamburg. It was some statement.

Dortmund secured a much-needed win against Bayern yesterday, closing the gap to the Bavarians to three points. Both teams trail the Bundesliga’s surprise package, RB Leipzig, but it was important for Tuchel’s team to keep pace with the reigning champions.

Aubameyang opened the scoring in the 11th minute with a poacher’s finish that you can watch below.

What was Aubameyang's celebration about?

We’ve seen some pretty cool celebrations from the Gabon international in the past, including pulling a Spider-Man mask out of his sock and pulling it over his head.

On Saturday, he proceeded to do three press-ups. There was clearly a reason behind it, and now we know why.

Per 101GreatGoals, Aubameyang is close friends with French rapper Gradur, who attended yesterday’s derby at Signal Iduna Park. Gradur has a song called 'Sheguey - #10 Tractions', tractions being the French term for push-ups, so the BVB striker was paying homage.

The former AC Milan posted an image on Instagram of his celebration, along with some lyrics to the song.

Gradur visited Aubameyang in the dressing-room after the game, sharing this video of himself with Ousmane Dembele.
