Survivor Series always manages to be an event that’s full of surprises, whether it’s a debut or a shocking result, certain moments always go down in history.

We got just that when Goldberg stunned the Toronto crowd when he made quick work of Brock Lesnar following the tense build-up to the match.

Not only that, we got a surprise in the bout that went on before the two icons hit the ring.

Team SmackDown triumphing over Team Raw wasn’t the actual surprise of the night, but it was what unfolded during the match which had fans at home and inside of the arena on their feet.

During the final five-on-five traditional Survivor Series tag team elimination match, Dean Ambrose was the first man to exit the contest after a brawl with teammate and current WWE World Champion, AJ Styles.

The Phenomenal One didn’t do anything to stop Ambrose from being eliminated by Braun Strowman, and he was made to paid for it later on.

Ambrose decided to return to the ring as Shane McMahon was being escorted out of the match, and laid down a beating on Styles to further their feud heading into the TLC pay-per-view in two weeks.

As you can see in the videos below, fans were treated to a special moment as The Lunatic Fringe was being taken out by security, only for the final members of Team Raw, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, to help their former Shield stablemate.

The three of them took out security, before delivering a nostalgic moment as the trio hit a triple powerbomb on Styles through the announcer’s table, leaving the fans ecstatic at what they just saw.

This followed a previous attempt, as Rollins and Reigns tried to put Orton through the table, only for Styles to break it up.

But it was totally worth waiting a little longer.

Even the inactive Shield twitter account couldn’t help but post a reaction following what happened, marking a brief reunion at the same event they debuted at four years ago.

While it doesn’t mean a permanent reunion for the trio, it was certainly a moment to enjoy for WWE fans.
