After his dominant performance against Brock Lesnar at Sunday's Survivor Series, the whole WWE Universe has been wondering about the future of Goldberg.

Goldberg took just 85 seconds to defeat the Beast Incarnate at Survivor Series in a match that was heavily criticised by fans.

A big entry

Tonight on RAW however, Goldberg opened the show as he came out to the ring to make the announcement the fans have been waiting for.

Goldberg was out with the intention of clearing up the doubt about his future and confirm just what his plans will be.

It all started with him reliving the previous nights events and informing everyone of an important conversation he had backstage after the match.

Telling he was stopped by Stephanie McMahon, Goldberg would lead into his announcement.

Claiming that he now has one more title run in him, he announced his intention to enter the 2017 Royal Rumble.

With the first event of next year making a grand return to the Alamo bowl in San Antonio, Texas, WWE are trying to fill the event with as many big names as possible.

It was believed before Survivor Series that Goldberg's appearance against Lesnar would be his one and only on his return to the ring.

However it was recently speculated that he had signed an improved deal with WWE and with his announcement on RAW, that certainly appears to be the case.

Goldberg is the first man to declare for the Royal Rumble in January and is now almost guaranteed to be along for the ride on the Road to WrestleMania.
