Thanksgiving in the USA is all about being thankful, spending time with your family, and enjoying some great food. Unfortunately for some NFL players, those celebrations are delayed because they have a job to do as their team is playing.

A couple of players make video messages that are played during games to show their thanks, and one of those players was Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee.

Punters generally don't usually get a lot of recognition, but McAfee deserves it after he said this perfect and fantastic reason as to why everyone should love Thanksgiving which was played during the Colts' game vs the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday night.

He said: "My favourite side dish is stuffing and let me tell you why. It means so much, it's like a little sandwich every bite you take because there's a nice mixture of carbs and veggies, and even if you get a little gravy in there, it's it's own little party in your mouth. And I think that's something that is needed to have a successful Thanksgiving."

Beautiful, absolutely beautiful.

The Colts didn't have a great night, as they lost 28-7 to the Steelers, but McAfee had a decent outing. Not only did he have an average of 46 yards on the two punts he had, but he also completed a pass for 35 yards on a fake punt and celebrated with the 'Billionaire's Strut'.

Indianapolis finished off that drive with a touchdown, so the risky play was definitely worth it.

This Thanksgiving, everyone should be thankful for McAfee because he is simply amazing.
