Boxers have always been amongst the best in any sport at promotion.
Aside from the months of training and, of course, actually getting in the ring to face their opponent, promoting a bout is a vital part of any fighter's career.
And David Haye has made sure his latest fight won't go under the radar after cutting out the middle man and announcing it to his 1.14 million Twitter followers in a specially created minute-long video. He's even created his own hashtag.
Haye, 36, made his second career comeback with a TKO win over Mark de Mori in January, and followed that up with another victory in May, this time against Arnold Gjergjaj.
Neither of those bouts compare to the excitement and anticipation that is sure to surround the Englishman's next challenge, however. That's after Haye revealed he will face Liverpudlian fighter Tony Bellew in March next year.
Haye and Bellew have had a long-running feud that peaked in October when Bellew confronted his rival moments after his three-round victory over BJ Flores.
And, as you can see in the video above, Haye only increased the tension with his Friday announcement. From knocking Bellew's movie roles, to creating a "BellendBellew" hashtag, the veteran fighter has wasted no time trying to get under the Scouser's skin.
The fight itself is one fans have been hoping to see for months and is sure to be a sell out when it takes place at the O2 on March 4, 2017.
Bellew is 28-2-1 in his professional career, but he will be stepping up to the Heavyweight division for the first time when he faces Haye in the ring next year.
The current WBC cruiserweight title is sure to have more than a few things of his own to say before then, especially after seeing Haye's video today.
